A-NAV chair is a design for modular garden furniture, made of aluminium. The concept was designed as part of the 'aluminium extrusion' project, and won the first place in 'design in aluminium' competition.
Aluminium is a material which has the benefits of being light weight but strong ,non-rusting and shiny . Outdoor furniture was traditionally made of wood and steel , but the advantages of aluminium plus the extrusion technique have changed this furniture market .
The product includes 6 bent tubes, 2 rings and 6 elastic fabric sheets which can all be set together with no requirement for special tools or knowledge.. The parts can be assembled around an existing tree, and taken apart in case needed.
